With the planning of the upcoming annual Rock ‘N’ Rumble Car Show and Cruise, the council is expected to grant a request from Main Street Altus to waive the City’s noise ordinance for the event.
Council members will also consider a request from the Altus Firefighter Combat Challenge Team to compete in the 2006 regional competitions and world championships this fall.
Among the agenda items on the Municipal Trust Authority, council members will hear a presentation by city finance director Joe Don Dunham.
The meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
