ALTUS - Altus High School athletic director Rick Roop wants Altus businesses and homeowners to know tha the people oferiing reflective curb address painting do not represent Altus Schools or the athletic department in any way.

“Several poeple have been contacted by out-of-town firms soliciting address curb painting saying that it is a fund raising project for us, but is not,” Roop said.

Roop said that these companies do not represent the Altus Public Schools or the Altus athletic department, and that the Altus school system receives no financial benefit form these companies.

“The local Altus All-Sports Association conducts fund-raisers which in turn provides financial support for the athletic department and is the only solicitation approved by the Altus athletic department,” Roop said.
