She was born Nov. 18, 1947, in Temple to C.R. and Lora (McConnell) Tutten. She married Dwain Hickman on Nov. 8, 1962, in Wellington, Texas. She attended school in Blair and continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. She worked tirelessly in the home and loved to spend time with children. She especially enjoyed working for Southwest Youth Services in Altus. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting recipes, fishing, and studying her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evelyne Langham.
She is survived by her husband Dwain of the home in Blair; two daughters, Cindy Penaluna and husband Steve of Vernon, Texas, and Wendy Cryer and husband Brady of Martha; one brother, R,G. Tutten and wife Claudine of Blair; one grandson, Sidney Hickman of Vernon; and many friends.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kincannon Funeral Home with Pastor Charlene Walker officiating. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
