The congressman is making a swing through eight Southwest Oklahoma counties as part of his annual round of 50 town hall meetings.
The meeting in Altus is set for 5 p.m. at the Western Oklahoma State College Student Center.
Lucas is serving his sixth full term as a member of Congress. He serves on the Agriculture, Financial Services and Science committees and is currently chairman of the Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Rural Development and Research.
Lucas is committed to continuing this tradition in the Third Congressional District, which includes all or portions of 32 counties in Oklhaoma, stretching from the Oklahoma panhandle to the outskirts of Tulsa, and from Yukon to Altus in the southwest. The congressional district takes up almost half the state's land mass.
