Newly appointed regent Renee Walker Gunkel will take the oath of office and be seated on the board. She replaces longtime board member and former regents chairman Linda Copeland.
Agenda items include action regarding tuition and fee rates for the 2006-2007 school year.
The regents will also consider a request for approval of an electronic program of office systems technology. Discussion of salaries and benefits and faculty tenure is also on the agenda.
Retirements and resignations to be considered are Larry Kelley, vice president for student affairs; Charles S. Jeffries, hardware/network instructor; and Fred Baker, lead custodian/maintenance technician.
The Board will also consider the employment of Dr. Randy Smith, vice president for academic affairs, replacing Dr. Roger Brown who retired; and Stacy Broman as the new women's softball coach.
