Agents make arrests in meth bust

JACKSON COUNTY - According to District Attorney John Wampler, the end of a year-and-a-half long investigation into the sale of methamphetamine in Southwest ended yesterday in the filing of drug-related charges against 14 individuals in state and federal court.

Agents of the District 3 DA Drug Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, assisted by the Mangum, Hobart and Blair police departments and the Greer, Kiowa and Jackson County Sheriff's Departments, began serving 13 state warrants in the early morning hours yesterday,

Six of the subjects are charged in Greer County and seven in Kiowa.

They included 29-year old Timolthy W. Patterson and 32-year old Shawn Wayne Cox who were arrested in Blair on Greer County warrants for Possession of CDS-Meth near Quartz Mountain State Park
