ALTUS - Four of the convicted sex offenders listed in Thursday's Altus Times are known to use one or more aliases.

According to documents found on the Web site of the Oklahoma Sex and Violent Crime Offender Registry, Shawn Joseph Connally, 42, of 202 1/2 Poplar in Martha, also goes by Shawn Joseph Conally, Shaun Joseph Connally and Sheun Connelly. He was convicted in January 1995 of aggravated lewd acts with a minor.

Jack Allen Cook, 33, of 2308 N. Park Lane #35, has two aliases: Jack A. Noble and Jack A. Roberts. He was convicted in January 1995 of sodomy.

Earl Edward Copeland, 47, of 15817 S. C.R. 208, is also known as Carl E. Copeland. He was convicted in March 2002 of sexual assault (carnal abuse).

Valente Guzman Jr., 27, of 2308 N. Park Lane #33, also goes by two aliases: Valente M. Guzman Jr. and Wrigley. He was convicted in October 2000 of second degree rape.
