Western Oklahoma State College's Community Chorus is busy putting the final touches on the "Sounds of the Season" concert to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in the Herschal H. Crow Auditorium on campus. The chorus has put together a special Christmas presentation designed for the whole family, including traditional and contemporary Christmas selections as well as instrumentalists, a bell choir, dancers, snow and even a special appearance from Santa. Mr. Claus and his sleigh will be there to hand out candy to kids after the performance.

Traditional Christmas tunes such as "Joy to the World," "O Come O Come Emmanuel," "Carol of the Bells," "Winter Wonderland," "Silent Night," "White Christmas" and "Silver Bells" will be heard, as well as less familiar tunes such as "Can You Hear the Christmas Bells?" and "Sing Gloria."

Because of the support of local and area businesses, the concert will be free to the public.
