More than 100 items have been collected and are ready for Christmas. The live auction will have 32 items including the University of Oklahoma signed jersey from Adrian Peterson, a Shelby Mustang peddle car, Destin Florida vacation condo, artwork from LowetaChesser, Thomas Kincaid and the late Larry Greer.
There are several beautiful home décor items as well from furniture pieces to beautiful holiday items for both indoor and outdoor. Electronic items will include a JVC global positioning system, I-Pod and a digital camera. There are a lot of sports items available this year to include OSU basketball tickets and signed OSU football, not to mention several pieces in the silent auctions from OKC Redhawks, Hornets and Blazers. One more fun thing available is a package of two tickets to see the play “Wicked” this summer in OKC with a $100 dinner certificate for a weekend away. Plus there will be a raffle for a $500 travel certificate. The items are too numerous to mention all of them in full detail but they are first class items that everyone would love to take home.
Committee members Lynna Wilmes, Zina Robbins, Cyndie Smith, Andrea Buck, Ginger Henton, Kim Wilmes, Vicki Smades and Linda Copeland have spent countless hours collecting top quality items this year to help make your holiday gift giving very special this year. Nub Smith, the Master of Ceremonies, is well prepared to help present a great evening this year.
Tickets for the event are still available at The Enchanted Door, H & H Furniture, Gems Etc., First National Bank, NBC, First State Bank, Red River FCU and the Chamber of Commerce.
Several Shortgrass Arts and Humanities Council members still have tickets available also for $20 each or $35 for couples.
There will be great food, entertaiment and lots of goodies to take home.
