Mangum man in good condition after roll over

GREER COUNTY - Chuck Lovett, 25, of Mangum, was admitted to Jackson County Memorial Hospital in good condition with internal injuries Tuesday after a one-vehicle accident.

According to reports, Lovett was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup two miles north of Mangum at approximately 5 p.m. when he ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went left of center across the road. The vehicle overturned 1 1/2 times before coming to rest partially on the roadway.

Seatbelts were equipped but not in use, but airbags were deployed.

The incident was investigated by Trooper Josh Tinsley of the Greer County detachment, and was assisted by Trooper Steve Pothorst of the Jackson County detachment of Troop M, Greer County Sheriff's Department and Greer County EMS,
