Ardmore defeated the Lady Bulldogs 55-52 in overtime.
Altus trailed most of the wa, but took the lead with 1:47 remaining in regulation when Michelle Marcha made a pair of free throws to make the score 45-43. The Lady Bulldogs also led 47-45 with 57 seconds left in the game when Kayla Floyd hit a bucket.
However, freshman Tagayla Lee hit the only three-pointer of the game to give the Lady Tigers the lead with 28 seconds left.
Freshman Janelle Durrough made one of two free throws with 14 seconds remaining. That was good enough to send the game to overtime.
In overtime, Ardmore built a four-point lead after Lee made a pair of free throws to make it 53-49.
A Malorie Vaughan free throw and a basket by Kayla Floyd with 38 seconds left pulled Altus to within one at 53-52.
Ardmore then committed a turnover but Altus could not take advantage of the opportunity. Aleah Gordon hit a glass shot with 14 seconds left to make it 55-52.
Altus could not convert on its final attempt and the game ended.
Sophomore Taryn Ray scored 14 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Durrough had seven points.
Lee led Ardmore with 18 points.
Altus will travel to Duncan on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game.
