On Wednesday the Jackson County Extension Office will offer a field tour and meeting covering wheat and cool season grass production topics. Of particular interest will be the demonstration and use of the new N-Sensor based mid-season nitrogen application technology in wheat production systems.
This technology has been demonstrating a savings of approximately $10 per acre for producers. We will also visit the wheat and cool season grass field plots during this tour located at the Southwest Research and Extension Center and the Corwin Petzold Farm, respectively.
This should be an informative field tour and meeting. There will be a sponsored lunch provided.
