Frederick man in critical condition after early morning county road accident

FREDERICK - Ethan Patrick Treadwell, 25, of Frederick, was air evacuated to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton early this morning after a one-car accident on a county road near Frederick.

According to reports, Treadwell was driving a 1985 Jeep CJ7 on county road 224, a dry dirt road, one mile east of Frederick in Tillman County at 1:55 a.m. today when he lost control of his vehicle.

Treadwell was south bound when he lost control and went left off the roadway rolling one and one quarter times. Treadwell was ejected approximately 30 feet from the vehicle. The vehicle came to rest on its side in the east ditch.

Seatbelts were equipped, but not in use.

Investigating the accident was Trooper Gary Sanders of the Tillman County detachment of Troop M. He was assisted by Tillman County Sheriff's Department, the Frederick Police Department and Frederick Fire Department.
