Clarence Freeling, age 86, of Vernon, Texas, died Monday, March 19, 2007, in Vernon, Texas. Services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Lynn Lubke. Interment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Clarence was born January 8, 1921 in Harrold, TX. He was the son of Carl Gorge Freeling and Mildred Mary Miller Freeling. He married Nettie Lucille Wiederanders on January 25, 1942 in San Diego, CA. He served in the Navy in Guam in WWII. Worked for Cooper Ind. Dallas Airmotive for many years. Member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a farmer and rancher.

Survived by his wife Nettie Freeling of the home, one son Carl Freeling of Harrold, TX, two daughters, Karen Hayes of Houston, TX, and Joy Cowan of Midlothian, TX, three sisters-Lillian Hill, Virginia Wiederanders, Nellie Janice Garner all of Cypress, TX. He is survived by six grandchildren and preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Feeling, and a son, Lawrence Freeling.

Memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers are Charles Hill, Ira Garner, J.A. Wiederanders, Clinton Cowan, Landry Freeling, Cade Freeling and Chad Winkler.
