The accident happened at 7:25 p.m. Monday on private property one mile north and five miles west of Olustee while Weber was in a wheat field rounding up cattle. He observed a wash and applied the brakes causing the vehicle to overturn end-over-end coming to a rest on its top and on the driver.
The vehicle was removed by other men working in the field.
Weber was transported to JCMH by Jackson County EMS. The incident was investigated by Trooper Shawn Laughlin of the Greer County detachment of Troop M. He was assisted by Jackson County EMS, Eldorado EMS, Jackson Count Sheriff's office and the Olustee police and fire departments.
