Lucas schedules town hall meetings in Southwest Oklahoma

U.S. Congressman Frank Lucas will hold town hall meetings in six counties in Southwest Oklahoma on July 2 and 3 as part of his annual round of 50 town hall meetings each year.

The public is encouraged to attend the meetings to hear about recent issues in Congress and to express concerns. Lucas is serving his seventh full term as a member of the Congress, representing Oklahoma's Third Congressional District. He serves on the Agriculture, Financial Services, and Science and Technology committees, and is currently the ranking member of the Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Energy and Research.

Lucas will be at WOSC in Altus from 1 to 2 p.m. in Room H9 on Tuesday, July 3.

Monday, July 2, will be at the Cordell Police Department in the precinct room from 9 to 10 a.m.; the Hinton fire station in the community room from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Anadarko City Hall Council chambers; and from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the seminar room at the Western Technology Center in Hobart.

July 3 meetings will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the conference room of Mangum Brick Company in Mangum; in Room H9 at WOSC in Altus from 1 to 2 p.m.; and from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Hollis Civic Center.
