“The situation at the East Sewage Lagoons has improved so that the voluntary reduction of the use of the sanitary sewer system by Frederick residents is no longer necessary.  Cooperation by Frederick citizens and the lack of more rainfall have served to remedy the situation.

Thank you very much for your assistance with this matter.

Please continue to help ourselves with the mosquito population: by emptying as often as necessary all water-holding containers on your property, by mowing your property as frequently as possible.  The City will be doing the same, as well as placing larvacide in waterways and fogging as conditions permit.”

Robert B. Johnston Frederick City Manager
