City of Altus ‘Tackle' Football applications still being accepted

Applications are being accepted at the City Gym and at the Parks and Recreation Department until Aug. 11 for City of Altus “Tackle” Football.

The registration period has been extended and a late fee will not be charged, but registrations will not be taken after Aug. 11 due to insurance reasons.

Sign-ups will be taken until 8 p.m.

The football program is offered to children, grades 1 through 6. The football program will be divided up in to three divisions: PEE WEE (1st-2nd, 8 and under); MIDGET (3rd-4th, 10 and under); BULLDOG (5th - 6th, 12 and under).

Participants will be placed according to their grade as of the upcoming school year and their age as of July 31. Local teams will be formed according to school enrollment. School enrollment will be verified once classes begin in August.
