Altus Athletic Director Rick Roop has set Aug. 4 as the date for free physicals to be performed for Altus athletes (boys and girls grades 7-12) that will participate in sports during the 2007-2008 school year for Altus Public Schools.

The physicals will take place from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the Integris Altus Medical Clinic at 201 S. Park Lane

The athlete must have the portion of he physical form completed and signed by a parent before the physician will perform the physical. The forms will be available that morning at the clinic or may be picked up in the athletic department at Altus High School prior to Saturday. A student may not practice until a physical is on file with his or her coach.

The date is restricted to Altus Public School athletes and only athletes in grades 7-12, For more information, call the athletic department at 481-2162.
