Oklahoma' filming in Altus this weekend

“WILD OKLAHOMA: WILD Oklahoma Radio and Television” continues its whirlwind tour of Oklahoma hot spots for hunting and fishing, this week heading to Altus.

“We're very excited to do some filming in the Jackson County seat of Altus,” said Ron Black, founder of Wild Oklahoma Media. “Altus is home to some of the greatest hunters, fishermen and outdoors enthusiasts in Oklahoma - and home to incredible patriots serving in the Armed Forces.”

WILD Oklahoma Radio & Television is an outdoor programming package that has been on the radio in Oklahoma City, Guymon and Cushing and plans are in the works to increase the number of radio stations. WILD Oklahoma television will launch this fall on KOKH Fox 25 based in Oklahoma City. This will mark the first hunting trip to Altus and the WILD Oklahoma Field Staff are very excited.

“When we were invited to film in Altus, we couldn't say no,” Black said. “Our programming is all about Oklahoma and while others are filming and boasting about other states, we're basking in the glory of Oklahoma dove hunting.”

Black and his crew will be dove hunting northwest of town Friday and Saturday and may be seen filming around town for the program.
