Funeral service for Lee Hoyt Lindsey, age 89, of Frederick will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2007 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Peevyhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Lindsey passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at his home in Frederick.

Lee Hoyt Lindsey was born on November 17, 1917 in Booneville, Mississippi to Leonard and Hattie Velma (Kelly) Lindsey. He attended school at Consolidated #1. On June 29, 1939, he was united in marriage to Odella Hoyle in Tipton. He was employed by O. E. Britton Ford as a mechanic for 18 years. He later went to work for Avial in 1967 and retired in 1984. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of the home; one son: Donny Lindsey & his wife Jackie of Mansfield, Texas; one daughter Linda Chesser and her husband Bill of Westcliffe, Colorado; one brother: Lewis Lindsey and his wife Katherine of Chico, California; three sisters: Toie Wright and Peggy Rollins and her husband Orville all of Wichita, Kansas, and Bobby Jean Bryan of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren: Mike Chesser, Sharla Watson and her husband Kenneth, Jeff Lindsey and his wife Amy and Jeremy Lindsey and his Bethany; six great-grandchildren: Shane, Colton and Kaitlyn Schrick, Caden Pierce and Taylor James and Addison Mae Lindsey, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Lee Hoyt Lindsey.
