Three quilts will be offered at First United Methodist church's annual Country Kitchen Christmas bazaar. The event will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.14, and will feature a luncheon and bake sale in addition to the quilt sale.

“Road to Oklahoma” was pieced and donated by Martha Raley. A double quilt, it is constructed of rosebud prints on a cream background. It will be sold by sealed bid. Also sold by sealed bid is the “Flying Geese” quilt. It is a traditional geometric design. Nicole Dresbeck pieced this navy and white queen-sized quilt. Sold by ticket sales is the “Flying-Star”-patterned quilt. The dominant colors in this design are Cherokee red and maize. Raley pieced this quilt.. Members of the the First United Methodist Quilting Bee quilted all the tops.
