Light Up A Life ceremony to be held Dec. 3

Martha Anderson, Director of Volunteers for Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice, announced that the annual Light Up a Life ceremony will be held Monday, Dec. 3. Beginning at 6:30 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital there will be a brief program for lighting the Mac Mollison Tree, then proceed to Best Western. Participating will be guitarist, Toby Valdez, Chaplain Erin Martinez and Rev. David Player.

The candle-lighting ceremony will take place at 7:00 at Best Western meeting room, north entrance. Speaking for this service is Reta Tims, with saxaphonist Bill Dickerson providing music, and other participants being Father Joe Arledge, Sally Pike, Pat Hunter, John Borders and Debbie Mason.

Names will be read aloud and a family member will light a candle.

Refreshments will be served. The public is invited.

Contributions may be made by making your check to Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice, and mailing it to Hospice, 1204 E. Tamarack by Nov. 29 along with the names of the persons you would like remembered.
