Rain and snow forecast for the area moved in and out of the area earlier today, with changes of more precipitation through the end of the week.

The National Weather Service said tonight would be partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the 20s to lower 30s.

Thursday is to remain cloudy with rain and snow expected in the Panhandle and highs ranging from the 30s in the Panhandle to the lower 50s in the far southeastern corner of the state.

Friday is to be mostly cloudy with scattered light rain or light snow statewide and highs again from the 30s in the Panhandle to the lower 50s in the southeast while overnight lows are expected from the teens in the Panhandle to near 40 degrees in the southeast.

There is a good chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the state. The system will move quickly, so rain totals will be light.

Any snow should melt immediately with no accumulation expected.
