Applications still being taken for gifts for needy children

First United Methodist Church of Altus and employees of the Jackson County office of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services are involved in providing Christmas gifts for low income and needy children in the county through “Project Noel,” in cooperation with the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Applications are being taken through Dec. 18 at the DHS office, 201 S. Main, Altus. For more information call 580-480-3400.
