Mrs. Perkins, 77, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at her home.
Pastor Artie Cantrell will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Mrs. Perkins was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Jackson County, the daughter of Sebert Lemaster and Nellie (Dubois) Lemaster.
On July 15, 1950, she married Ernest Burl Perkins in Snyder. She moved to Artesia in 1976 from Altus.
Ernest preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lonnie Lemaster and Keith Lemaster; and sister, Betty Thompson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the House of Worship Church of God. She was also a saleswoman for 20 years of household goods.
Survivors include her son, Ernest B. Perkins II and wife Andrea of Ada; daughter, Lanette Turner of Artesia; brother, Ellis Lemaster of Altus; sister, Edith Snyder of Altus; brothers-in-law, Bob Perkins and wife Sue of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Bill Perkins and wife Carol of Antlers; grandchildren, Ernest B. Perkins III of Poteau, Skyelar Perkins of Durant, Morgan Holmes and husband Kevin of Oklahoma City, Gabe Turner of Artesia, and James Turner and wife Christine of Las Cruces, N.M.
