A Kid’s Adventure Day is being held at the Western Oklahoma State College gymnasium.This free event is for all children and their parents and/or caregivers. It will be held Thursday, June 30 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Exercise and activities are planned for children (and adults if they choose) inspiring them to adopt a active lifestyle.

Information will be available for parents/caregivers and children about healthy food choices for their family and ideas to promote an active lifestyle.

The event is sponsored by the Jackson County Community Health Action Team’s (JCCHAT) Health and Nutrition Task Force.

The JCCHAT Health and Nutrition Task Force is focused on educating Altus and Southwest Oklahoma on nutritional and health issues in our community.  

The event is hosted by the Western Oklahoma State College- Kid’s College.
