Joseph Hernandez, 28, of Hollis passed away, Thursday morning, Jan. 1, 2009, at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at Kincannon Memorial Chapel in Altus.

Joseph Leyva Hernandez was born Sept. 17, 1980, to Luis and Donna (Tucker) Hernandez in Elmhurst, Ill. He graduated from Del City High School in 2000. He loved football and baseball and really enjoyed watching the New York Yankees. He was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Kristine Hernandez of Hollis; brother, Anthony Hernandez of Moore; grandparents, Ron and Marcie Linder of Aurora, Colo., and Luis Hernandez of Altus; four aunts, Denise Gilmour of Lafayette, Colo., Diane Kurasz of Chicago, Ill., Rebecca Hernandez of Altus, and Gilda Lloyd of Ramstein, Germany; and one uncle, Dave Tucker of Lake Orion, Mich.
