City of Altus “Tackle” Football Registrations are being accepted at the City Gym and at the Parks and Recreation Department starting Monday July 11 through August 13, 2011. Registrations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 9 p.m. Late sign ups will only be accepted up until practice starts. Late fee after August 13, 2011, will be an additional $10. Once teams are formed the City Recreation Department will not be able to take any registrations.

Registration fee is $20.00 to the City of Altus Participation and $40.00 to Altus Great Plains league expenses for a total of $60. Late fees ate $10 For a total of $70.

The football program is offered to children, grades 1st through 6th GRADES The football program will be divided up in to three divisions: (1st-2nd 8 and under); (3rd–4th_10 and under) ;(5th – 6th~12 and under).

Participants will be placed according to their grade as of the upcoming school year and their age as of July 31, 2011.

Participants are required to have a physical prior to practice. Practice will begin in August,
