Two popular sales events are scheduled in the coming weeks: Crazy Days Sales in Altus, and the Oklahoma Tax Free Weekend.

These sales events are not only a great way to stretch a dollar, but they are fun to shop.

The Altus Crazy Days Sales are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 29 and 30. Local merchants will have tons of great bargains from clothing and housewares to gift items and more.

Just in time for back-to-school will be the Oklahoma Tax Free Weekend. Stores in Altus will join other businesses across the state Friday-Sunday, Aug. 5-7, to offer great deals to keep you shopping local sales, with the added bonus of not paying sales tax on applicable items.
