According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Hollenbeck was driving a 2007 Ford pickup 2/10ths of a mile east on CR 203 on CR 158 at 11:55 p.m. on Saturday when the fatal accident occurred.
Hollenbeck was said to have been east bound when he was passing another vehicle at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle, departing the north side of the road in a broad slide.
The vehicle then struck a culvert causing the vehicle to roll two and a half times, ejecting Hollenbeck. The vehicle came to rest on it’s top.
There were no passengers. Seatbelts were equipped, but not in use. Airbags were equipped, but did not deploy.
