Oklahoma Poet Laureate Eddie Wilcoxen will be the featured speaker for the Southwest Oklahoma Writers League at their meeting Saturday in Mangum.

The League is inviting everyone to come and enjoy the stories and poems of life on the farm, of faith and optimism, rodeo and ranching, and more.

Wilcoxen has written and published seven books of poetry and one nonfiction book, and has been widely acclaimed for his entertaining, humorous, and moving presentations.

The get together will be held in the large meeting room at the Margaret Carder Library, 201 West Lincoln, in downtown Mangum and will begin at 10:30 Saturday morning.
