David Grant Buterbaugh, 51, of Altus, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, in Altus. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Altus City Cemetery Veteran’s section with military honors. Arrangements are entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 5, 1957, in Oklahoma City to Robert W. and Wanda F. (Sam) Butterbaugh. He graduated from Navajo High School in 1977. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1981. He married Dorothy Marshall in 1979 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the owner of the Pet-O-Rama Pet Store on Falcon Road. He enjoyed computers, crossword puzzles, movies and answering trivia questions at the radio station.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda; and his grandmother, Betty Buterbaugh.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert and Jackie Butterbaugh of Altus; daughter, Sarah Watson; stepdaughter, Mindy; stepsister, Debbie McAskill and husband Mike of Altus; two stepbrothers, George Medlock and wife Candy of Altus, and Billy Medlock of Edmond; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Dominic Watson.
