The Salvation Army re-opened their Soup Kitchen on Tuesday to help feed the needy in the Altus community, and another one is planned for Thursday. The Salvation Army will be serving hot meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at its new location at 1100 North Park Lane. Those attending should go to the Fellowship Hall located behind the Chapel. Shown serving Tuesday were Sharlene Kratz and Bob Feland, but a spokesperson for the Salvation Army said they are still seeking volunteers to help cook and serve meals.
