Warren subject of County Commissioners’ hearing

The Jackson County Commissioners held a regular end of the month meeting on September 30, at 10 a.m.

The commissioners held a public hearing for any interested parties on discussion of a REAP Grant Application for Asphalt Overlay for the streets of Warren. There are three streets in Warren. The notices about this grant have been published and there has been no objection to the asphalt overlay process there.

Also during the meeting, Commissioners approved the minutes from last meeting on Monday, Sept. 26.

Reports were received and approved from the Assessor's Office, the Alcoholic Beverage Tax Report, and the Jackson County Health Department.

There were no officers' reports.

They approved blanket purchase orders from the Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office.

The appropriations for the month of September were approved.

There were no new business, public participation, or vendor participation items. There were no claims for approval.
