The Jackson/Ozark HCE recently donated blankets to Mission on Wheels. They encourage other groups or individuals to donate blankets, warm clothing or food. "Need knows no season but with the cold weather, many people need coats, warm clothes and bedding," Mary Easley said. Mission on Wheels offers clothing and household items free of charge to anyone in the community who needs them. They hold clothing giveaways every Wednesday and Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Donations are gratefully received on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. For information or special donations call Edna at 580-649-8620.
