Christmas music will be provided by Kitty Huey and the Duke School Band from 6 to 7 p.m.
Santa will arrive by firetruck at 7:30 p.m.
This year there will not be any speakers for the initial lighting of Christmas in the Park. The Christmas lights will be turned on at dark.
According to Randy Marple of the Parks and Recreation Department, the event is always held the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
