Local author to hold book signing for children’s book on grief

Author Deanna Voegeli will hold a book signing at Belles and Beaux at 116 N. Main Street in Altus from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Deanna’s book, “Grieving for Grandma” is a wonderful tool to utilize with children who have suffered any kind of permanent loss – parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, even their beloved animals. 

Deanna has worked with children in many venues. She currently serves as school superintendent at Indiahoma Public School and has experience as a clinical counselor, a teacher of English, reading, music, Special Education and creative writing. She has worked in education at all levels to include elementary, junior high, high school, and college.

Not only does she enjoy writing, but as Superintendent of Indiahoma Public Schools and founder and President of www.mycareersorter.com, she stays extremely busy. She resides with her husband, Skip, on a ranch outside of Indiahoma, Okla.
