Altus Masonic Lodge Number 62 Masonic Family was very pleased to present to the Altus community, through Lt. and Mrs. Price of the Altus Salvation Army, toys for the needy children for the 2011 Christmas season.

This year, through fundraising and donations from our members and  raffle tickets sold for a beautiful handmade quilt by Mary  Stager, the lodge was  able to purchase $5,890 in toys.

These toys were delivered to the Salvation Army at a joint Eastern Star and Lodge Family Night dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011.

The Master of the lodge during the fundraising process was Rodger Meyer. The Stager family, David, Mary, Christopher and Ethan, did all of the shopping which amounts to a mountain of Christmas cheer for the needy families of Altus.

The current lodge Master as of Dec. 10 is Roy Smith.
