Free hot meal to be offered Saturday

A free hot meal will be provided to Altus residents this Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Trinity Baptist Church, 1300 North Benson.

A hot meal, consisting of vegetable beef soup and corn bread muffins along with dessert will be provided to anyone that comes, no income verification or identification will be required. The operating hours of the soup kitchen will be from 11 to 1 p.m.

The churches that are participating in the ministry are part of the Southwest Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention.
