An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Nathan Hernandez, 21, who has been accused of raping a 14-year-old girl behind a garbage dumpster at McDonald’s of Altus.

Bond for Hernandez has been set at $100,000. Hernandez was said to have had sex twice with the girl during his breaks while working at McDonald's in March of 2011.

According to affidavits, the girl told police she had consensual sex with the man behind the dumpster while her friend stood watch. The two girls allegedly went back to the restaurant later and the incident was repeated, only this time without consent.

The girl told police Hernandez grabbed her arm and forcibly led her to the dumpster area. Her friend said Hernandez proposed sex to her as well, but that he left her alone when she threatened to throw her drink at him.

The case, originally investigated by Altus Police, was turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Hernandez’s previous arrests have included charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and domestic abuse.
