Altus School Board will be
held Monday at 5 p.m. in
Board Conference Room at
the Administrative Center,
219 N. Lee.
Agenda items under the
Superintendent’s reports
and comments include election
information, drug testing,
the DARE program,
choice of school and kindergarten
enrollment, as well
as pay requests for the high
school renovation and new
construction.
Consent agenda items
include activity fund raisers,
the CLEP Plan - update
of school/site/program
improvements, and a Crisis
Committee presentation.
Other items include
retirements, reassignments,
proposed substitutes/time
sheet employees/volunteers
and extra duty assignments.
The proposed executive
session will be to consider
new hires.
In regular session, Mrs.
Sanchez will acknowledge
receipt of the district audit
report, year ended June 30,
2011.
Other items include
the termination of Wanda
Murphy’s employment
with Altus Public Schools,
discussion of plans for the
high school Vocational
Agriculture Building, and
the purchase of a school
drug dog.
