In a spirit of community collaboration, Altus Lions Club members, the Rev. George Lupton, left, and Gayle Culbertson, right, cooked and served pancakes for the January Habitat for Humanity luncheon Tuesday. Habitat luncheons are offered on the third Tuesday of each month at the Community Center on Falcon Road and are hosted by various groups, clubs and organizations, with all of the proceeds donated to help build simple, decent homes for area residents who qualify. To help with the luncheons, constructon or other opportunities, contact the local Habitat for Humanity office at 480-0041.
