Sherry Trammell, 78, of Eldorado, passed away at her home, Monday, March 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado with the Rev. Pete Wylie officiating. Burial will follow services at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Sherry Ann Pritchard was born Sept. 18, 1933, to J.D. and Alta (Ford) Pritchard in Quanah, Texas. She attended Quanah High School and later attended the Business College in Ft. Worth, Texas. Sherry and Roy Junior Trammell were united in marriage on May 25, 1956, in Eldorado, and to this union three children were born. She worked at the bank in Eldorado for 32 years before retiring in 1995. She was a substitute teacher at the Eldorado School system for several years. Sherry was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, where she helped prepare church meals. She was also a member of the Eldorado Historical Society. Sherry loved to bowl, garden, and fish at Red River, New Mexico.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; one son, Johnny Trammell; and three brothers, Jonnie Pritchard, Bobby Pritchard and Lonnie Pritchard.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Barney and Loretta Trammell of Eldorado; and one daughter and son-in-law, Reba and Ken Wood of Silverton, Texas; four grandchildren, Wesley Miser and wife Liz of Kyle, Texas, Nacole Trammell Coker and husband Kevin of Blair, Sarah Miser McCluer and husband Ryan of Lake Port, Calif., and Whitney Trammell of Eldorado/Weatherford; two great-grandchildren, Case and Cade Coker of Blair; two sisters, Joy Randolph of Quanah, Texas, and Sue Bagby and brother-in law Jessie of Quanah; one brother, Jerry Pritchard and sister-in-law Janice of Alvarado, Texas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and cousins.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. this evening at the Kincannon Funeral Chapel in Eldorado.
