Alice was born in Buskirk, N.Y., to Stephen and Anna (Stanko) Dumal, Sr. on July 9, 1929. She married James R. Doner on Dec. 30, 1951, in Johnsonville, N.Y., and went with her husband while he served in the military, making them a home wherever they were.
They settled in the Altus area, living and farming in the Victory community for the past 31 years. Alice spent many happy years working and serving the needy at The Salvation Army of Altus, where her and her husband are church members and volunteers.
She is survived by her husband; her son, Dennis and daughter-in-law Pam of Edmond; and a brother, Michael Dumal of Lewes, Del.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Stephen Dumal, Jr.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made in her honor to The Salvation Army of Altus, 1100 N Park Lane.
