Reva Hayes, 49, passed away at her home Sunday, April 1, 2012. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Zapata officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Reva Lea Armstrong was born on July 16, 1962, to Robert and Patricia (Sumrall) Armstrong in Riverside, Calif. She graduated from West Anchorage High School and attended the Alaska Business College as well Beauty School in Anchorage, Alaska. She married Michael Leon Hayes on May 1, 1984, in Anchorage. She owned a beauty salon in Anchorage, was a business owner in Altus, and worked as a waitress at the Friendship Inn. She was of the Christian faith. Reva enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, sports cars, and her Boxer dog named, Gabby. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and two brothers-in-law, Ralph Hitchcock and Mike Allen.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Atkinson-Cain and fiancé Robert La Haie of Altus; a son, Scott Atkinson and wife Cynthia of Tacoma, Wash.; five grandchildren, Jaeden Atkinson, Kadin Atkinson, Ethan Scott Atkinson, Lucinda Michelle Atkinson and Mikayla Reva Atkinson; his parents, Robert and Patricia Armstrong of Cave Junction, Oregon; two sisters, Sheri Armstrong of Cave Junction, Oregon, and Debbie Allen of Fontana, Calif.; her best friend arnold Algeo of Altus; as well as a host of other friends and neighbors.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today in the gathering room at Kincannon Funeral Home.
