On Thursday, April 19, Altus Lions Club had as its guest speaker, John Morrow, associate pastor at First United Methodist Church, and a history teacher who has and does wear many hats.

His topic was “What the Holocaust Can Teach Us if We Will Listen.” Thursday was Holocaust Remembrance Day as well as the 17th anniversary of the Murrah Building bombing, so it was a very appropriate topic for the day. John was an intern at the Holocaust museum in DC and has great stories. John’s program was presented to Lions and guests at Western Oklahoma State College.
