The Board of Trustees, JCMH Authority, met in regular session, Monday.

Jim King presented the highlights from the Performance Improvement Council meeting held on April 4.

The board approved the annual Environment of Care report as presented by Mr. King.

Bill Wilson reported that the outreach clinics contributed a total of 251 admissions and 107 outpatient surgeries and observations to JCMH for the month of March.

Wilson also reported on physician recruitment. Dr. Jeff Duncan, Orthopedic Surgeon, has signed a contract to join JCMH and will begin practicing on June 4. Dr. Lindsey King, Pediatrician, will also be joining the JCMH Pediatric Clinic on July 9. Recruitment efforts continue in pediatrics, general surgery, emergency medicine and family practice.

Fixed Assets from Funded Depreciation and Designated Funds to Funded depreciation were approved in the amount of $77,261.04.

Richard Pope presented the First Quarter Safety Report to include fire drills conducted, fire system inspection, new employee orientation and work related injuries.

The board approved an addendum to the Employee Influenza Vaccination Requirement Policy as presented by Ms. Bolding.

The board approved Infection Prevention Plan Authority Statement as presented by Bolding.

Dr. Melinda Powers, Chief of Staff, reported from the Executive Medical Staff meeting that was held on April 9. The following were proposed to the Board for approval:

Nancy Davidson presented the financials for March resulting in a net income of $272,003 and year to date net loss of $2,786,673.
