Third suspect in violent home invasion burglaries held in Jackson County Jail

Christopher Aaron Scruggs, 25, who was wanted in connection to some home invasion burglaries in Tillman and Stephens counties, surrendered yesterday at the Comanche County Sheriff’s Department.

According to a Jackson County jailer, Scruggs was transferred from the Tillman County Jail to the Jackson County Jail due to the violent nature of the burglaries.

Two other suspects in the burglaries, Leon Edwards and Douglas Brown, have been apprehended.
