Minutes from the April 23, 2012 Board of Trustees meeting were approved as presented.
Teri Stubbs presented the annual HIPAA training and Compliance education for the board members. The board approved revisions made to the Corporate Compliance Plan as presented by Stubbs.
Michelle Ford reported that the outreach clinics contributed a total of 220 admissions and 140 outpatient surgeries to JCMH for the month of April.
Bill Wilson reported on physician recruitment. Dr. Lindsey King, Pediatrician, will join the Pediatric Clinic July 9. Dr. Jeff Duncan, Orthopedic Surgeon, will join Southwest Orthopedics June 4. Dr. Eugene Chen, General Surgeon, has signed a contract to join JCMH in August or September.
Fixed Assets from Funded Depreciation and Designated Funds to Funded Depreciation were approved in the amount of $246,408.25.
In New Business , Bonnie McAskill announced to the board that a $100,000 contribution was made from Dr. James Womack to the JCMH Foundation to begin the Gwen and Judy Womack Scholarship Fund.
Dr. Powers reported from the Executive Medical Staff meeting that was held on May 14. The following were proposed to the Board for approval:

a. Jeffrey A Duncan, DO – Orthopedic Surgery, Active Staff
b. Terry A Moy-Brown, DO – Emergency Medicine, Courtesy Staff
Requests were approved as presented.
Dr. Powers gave an update on Dr. Gallagher’s leave of absence.
Financials for the month of April ended with a net income $1,060,634 and year to date net income of $3,847,307.
